The November Edit

A New Chapter, A Personal Perspective

November feels like the perfect time to begin a new chapter. A space where I can share my thoughts, my perspective and everything I’ve learned from more than 20 years of working in fashion, styling and image consultancy.

Fashion has always been more than clothes to me. It’s about identity, personality, confidence and the way we choose to present ourselves to the world.

And after all these years, I’ve realised that some of the most meaningful things I’ve learned have very little to do with the clothes themselves.

They have everything to do with the people wearing them.

Why I Fell in Love with Fashion

After more than 20 years, people still ask me what I love most about fashion.

It isn’t the shoots or the shows. It’s the people. It always has been.

It’s that moment when someone looks in the mirror, goes quiet for a second and then smiles. Not because they look like someone else, but because they finally see themselves differently. More confident. More comfortable. More themselves.

I’ve watched women walk into a room differently after our time together. They stand taller, carry themselves with more confidence and sometimes discover a side of themselves they never knew existed.

And even after all these years, those moments still give me goosebumps.

Sometimes, it’s the smallest things. Changing the way someone wears a jacket, choosing the right colour, adjusting a silhouette or simply encouraging someone to try something they never thought would suit them.

What might seem like a small styling detail can make a real difference to someone’s confidence, presence and the way they see themselves.

And that’s what I love most about what I do.

Clothes don’t change who you are. When chosen with intention, they allow the world to see who you already are.

Why I’m Starting This Journal

Throughout my career, I’ve collected so much knowledge, so many experiences and countless little tricks that can make a difference.

And I’ve realised that I don’t want to keep all of that to myself.

Not everyone has access to a stylist or an image consultant, but everyone deserves to feel confident in what they wear.

I want to share what I know, what I’ve learned, what I continue to discover and, most importantly, what I can bring to others.

Because sometimes one simple piece of advice can completely change the way someone looks at their wardrobe, their image or even themselves.

And if I can make that difference beyond the people I work with directly, then this journal already has a purpose.

How I See You

I never start with the clothes. I start with you.

How do you spend your days? What makes you feel confident? What do you naturally reach for in your wardrobe? And what have you bought but never quite figured out how to wear?

Most importantly, when do you feel most like yourself?

Every person I’ve had the pleasure of dressing has been different, and that’s what makes my work so interesting.

I don’t believe in uniforms, endless fashion rules or telling every woman she needs the same ten wardrobe essentials.

Your personality, your lifestyle, your energy and the way you move through the world come first.

My passion is bringing those qualities out, helping you discover what works for you and sometimes encouraging you to step a little outside your comfort zone.

Because style should never be about becoming someone else.

It should be about expressing who you are, with a little more confidence.

What Fashion and Trends Mean to Me

I love fashion. I love trends. I love watching designers create, reinterpret and challenge what we think we know about style.

I’ll happily spend hours watching collections, studying details and appreciating the creativity behind them.

But here’s my confession: I don’t believe that being stylish means following every trend.

Fashion is inspiration. Personal style is interpretation.

It’s about taking what’s happening in fashion and making it work for you, your personality and your lifestyle.

Some trends are worth investing in. Others are simply fun to experiment with. And some we can admire without needing to own them.

A trend should look like you’re wearing it, not like it’s wearing you.

I don’t believe in strict fashion rules. I believe in individuality, evolution and understanding what makes you feel like yourself.

Because being fashionable and having style are not always the same thing.

And that’s something I’ve believed throughout my career.

The Little Things That Make a Difference

Over the years, I’ve realised that some of my most valuable styling advice comes down to the smallest details.

The way a jacket sits on your shoulders. The length of your trousers. A shirt cuff peeking out from a blazer. The right proportions, the right accessories or knowing when an outfit needs one less detail rather than one more.

These are the things I notice instinctively, and they’re also the things I love sharing.

You don’t always need a new wardrobe to refresh your style.

Sometimes, you simply need to look at what you already own with a different eye.

And often, the difference between an ordinary outfit and a great one isn’t the price tag or the designer.

It’s how you put it together.

What to Look Forward To

Think of this as my personal fashion journal, a space where I’ll share everything from the latest trends and runway moments to practical styling advice and the little details that make a big difference.

We’ll talk about what works, what doesn’t, what’s worth investing in and how to make the most of what you already own.

I’ll share my thoughts on designers, collections, iconic fashion moments, personal image and the connection between style and confidence.

There will be styling tips, wardrobe inspiration, fashion conversations and a few things you might never have thought about before.

And yes, I’ll give you my opinions too. Because after more than 20 years in fashion, I certainly have a few!

A Little Note Before We Begin

I’m not here to tell you what to wear or to change who you are.

I’m here to share, inspire and hopefully help you discover something new about your own style.

Because at the end of the day, style isn’t about becoming someone else.

It’s about feeling confident enough to be yourself.

Thank you for being here at the beginning of this new chapter.

Welcome to my world of fashion.

With love, and a few strong opinions,
